Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, I spent my senior year of high school in Québec, Canada, before moving to Madrid to study Interior Design at IED – Istituto Europeo di Design. My purpose is to design atmospheres where restraint doesn’t mean absence, but rather a heightened intensity of experience. I’m drawn to a kind of minimalism that doesn’t simplify, but refines — stripping away the excess so that light, material, and form can take an active role in shaping how a space feels.I think of design as a delicate balance between presence and emptiness, where every element carries just enough weight to be perceived without ever needing to impose itself.
I understand simplicity as a form of precision, not of absence.Working with few elements allows me to give prominence to what truly shapes the experience — avoiding saturation and letting each decision carry a clearer impact.Designing from this approach fosters a deeper connection between the user and the space.
